Directions
Heat a cast iron or nonstick skillet over medium heat. Spread about half a teaspoon of mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice. Place the bread mayo-side down in the skillet. On one slice, layer the jalapeรฑo Jack cheese, then add the tomato slices. On the other slice, pile on the mozzarella, sprinkle the basil leaves, and top with the Cheddar. Let the bread toast until itโs golden and crispy, which usually takes around 3 to 5 minutes. Carefully flip the slice with the tomato on top of the basil one, pressing them gently together. Cook for another minute or so to let the cheeses melt and everything come together.
