Step 1
Gently heat your oven to 450ยฐF (230ยฐC) and lightly drizzle some olive oil on a rimmed baking sheet. In a small saucepan over medium heat, warm the milk and oats together until the milk is hot but not boiling. Turn the heat down and let it simmer for about 3 to 5 minutes, until it thickens up like oatmeal. Take it off the heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
Step 2
In a big bowl, mix the turkey with the egg, Parmesan substitute, parsley, garlic powder, nutmeg, and pepper. Once the oat mixture has cooled, add it to the bowl and stir everything together well using a sturdy spoon or spatula. Shape the mixture into about 28 meatballs and place them evenly on the baking sheet.
Step 3
Pop the meatballs in the oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, turning them halfway through so they brown nicely on all sides and cook through. When theyโre done, they should be nicely browned and ready to enjoy!
