Step 1
Warm your oven to 375ยฐF (190ยฐC) and lightly grease an 8-inch square baking dish. In a bowl, mix together the oats, 1 cup of flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and baking powder. In a separate large bowl, whisk the milk, applesauce, honey, peanut butter, and vanilla until smooth. Then, beat in the eggs until everything is well combined. Add the oat mixture to the wet ingredients and stir just until combined, then fold in the bananas. Pour half of this batter into your prepared pan.

Pop it in the oven and bake for about 5 minutes, just until itโs starting to set. Take it out and let it cool completely. While itโs cooling, toss the milk chocolate and semisweet chocolate chips with a teaspoon of flour in a small bowlโthis helps keep them from sinking later. Sprinkle the coated chips evenly over the cooled layer, then spread the rest of the batter on top.

Return the pan to the oven and bake until the top is golden and a toothpick comes out clean, about 35 to 45 minutes. Let it cool a bit before slicing, then enjoy!
