Chef Tips
- Brush the okra lightly with oil to prevent sticking and enhance crispiness.
- Turn the okra frequently to cook evenly and avoid burning.
Directions
Heat your grill to high and give the grates a light brush of oil so the okra doesn’t stick. In a bowl, mix the okra with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and a pinch of cayenne for a little kick. Once the grill is hot, lay the okra out and let it cook until you see bright green pods with nice grill marks, about 5 minutes. Flip them over, close the lid, and let them cook another 5 minutes or so until they’re tender. When they’re done, transfer the okra to a bowl and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top. Finish it off by sprinkling with rosemary and thyme for a fresh, zesty flavor.
