What Makes This Recipe So Great
Cooking Tips You Should Know
- Use fresh grapefruit juice for the topping to keep the flavors vibrant.
- Cook the salmon skin-side down first to help it stay crispy and prevent sticking.
Directions
Warm your oven to 375ยฐF. In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, oregano, thyme, black pepper, cayenne, and brown sugar. Cut the salmon into four pieces and lightly brush each one with oil. Then, rub the spice mixture all over the salmon, making sure every side is well coated. Place the salmon on a shallow baking dish and pop it in the oven. Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork. While the salmon is cooking, roughly chop the grapefruit into bite-sized chunks and toss it with the rest of the salsa ingredients. You can make the salsa ahead of time and keep it in the fridge until youโre ready to eat. Serve the salmon topped with the sweet and spicy grapefruit salsa and enjoy!
