Tips To Improve This Recipe
- Let the pork chops rest a few minutes before serving to keep them juicy.
- Cook the bacon-wrapped chops over medium heat to avoid burning the bacon while fully cooking the meat.
Step 1
Turn on your ovenβs broiler and moving the rack so itβs about 6 inches from the heat. Wrap each pork chop with two slices of bacon, making sure the meat is completely covered, and use toothpicks to hold everything in place. Arrange the bacon-wrapped chops on a broiler pan and broil them for about 5 minutes on each side, until theyβre nicely browned.
Step 2
While the pork is broiling, mix together the chili sauce, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard in a bowl. Once the chops are browned, transfer them to the bottom of your slow cooker. Pour the sauce mixture over the chops, then scatter pineapple chunks on top. Cover and cook on low for about 6 hours, until the pork is really tender and flavorful.
