Why You'll Want This Again

This method gives you juicy, flavorful burgers with a nice crust every time. Cooking in a skillet allows for even heat and quick cooking, making it perfect for busy weeknights. Plus, you can easily customize the seasoning and toppings to suit your taste.

Tips For Better Flavor

- Preheat the skillet well before adding the patties to get a good sear.
- Avoid pressing down on the burgers while cooking to keep them juicy.
- Let the burgers rest for a few minutes after cooking to lock in the juices.

Step 1

Divid the ground beef into four equal patties. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high for a couple of minutes until it’s nice and hot. Place the patties in the pan and let them brown for about 2 minutes on each side.

Step 2

Then, turn the heat down to medium. Sprinkle half of the salt and pepper over the burgers, flip them, and cook for about 6 minutes. Season the other side with the remaining salt and pepper, flip again, and cook for another 6 minutes.

Step 3

Pour half of the Worcestershire sauce over the patties, flip them, and cook for 2 more minutes. Repeat with the rest of the sauce, flipping and cooking for an additional 2 minutes. To make sure they’re done, check that the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

Perfect Pairings

Serve with classic toppings like lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. Add a side of crispy fries or a fresh salad to complete the meal. For extra flavor, try melting cheese on top just before removing from the skillet.

Storing Leftovers

Store leftover cooked burgers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in a skillet or microwave to keep them moist. If using raw patties, freeze them separately and cook directly from frozen when ready.
