Why This Recipe Is So Flavorful

These ice pops combine the rich taste of chocolate with the sweet, tangy burst of cherries. They are a refreshing treat perfect for warm days and offer a delightful contrast between creamy chocolate and icy fruit. Plus, they are fun to make and even more fun to eat.

Cooking Secrets

- Use high-quality dark or semi-sweet chocolate for a smooth coating and better flavor.
- Make sure the ice pops are fully frozen before dipping to avoid melting the chocolate.
- Work quickly when dipping to prevent the chocolate from hardening unevenly.

Directions

Tos the yogurt, coconut milk, cocoa powder, brown sugar, vanilla, and almond extracts into a blender. Blend everything together until it’s nice and smooth. Next, pour the chocolatey mixture into your ice pop molds, filling them about three-quarters of the way. Then, add cherries to fill up the rest of the space in each mold. Use a knife to gently push the cherries down so they’re evenly mixed throughout the pops. Pop them in the freezer and let them chill for at least 8 hours, or until they’re completely frozen solid. Once they’re ready, enjoy your homemade frozen treats!

Serving Recommendations

Serve these pops chilled straight from the freezer for a cool, refreshing snack. They pair wonderfully with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a light fruit salad. For parties, arrange them on a platter with fresh cherries and mint leaves for a festive touch.

How To Store For Later

Keep the ice pops stored in an airtight container or tightly wrapped in plastic wrap to prevent freezer burn. Store them in the coldest part of your freezer and enjoy within two weeks for the best texture and flavor. Avoid thawing and refreezing to maintain their quality.
