Step 1

While that’s heating up, roll your dough out on a floured surface into a rectangle about 10 by 12 inches. Cut it into twelve strips that are about an inch wide. Wrap each strip snugly around a bratwurst in a spiral, pinching the dough edges to seal it and leaving about half an inch of the bratwurst showing at both ends.
