Directions

Sift the flour, cinnamon, and ginger together in a large bowl. Stir in the sugar until everything is well combined. Next, cut the lard and butter into the flour mixture using a pastry blender or two knives until it looks crumbly. Roll the dough out nice and thin on a floured surface, then cut out your favorite shapes with cookie cutters. Bake the cookies for around 10 minutes, or until they’re just starting to turn golden around the edges.
