Why This Recipe Is A Must Try

These treats are a perfect blend of rich chocolate and sweet cookie dough flavors without any baking required. They come together quickly and are great for satisfying your sweet tooth with minimal effort. Plus, they’re fun to make and even better to share.

Kitchen Tricks

- Use heat-treated flour to keep the cookie dough safe to eat raw.
- Chill the mixture well before cutting to help the treats hold their shape.
- Feel free to add nuts or other mix-ins for extra texture and flavor.

Step 1

Lin a baking sheet with waxed paper. In a large bowl, cream together the brown sugar and butter with an electric mixer until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Add the vanilla extract and mix again until well combined. Slowly add the flour, beating until the dough comes together smoothly. Then, stir in the sweetened condensed milk until everything is well blended. Gently fold in the chocolate chips and pecans.

Step 2

Roll the dough into small 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Pop them into the fridge for about two hours so they firm up nicely.

Step 3

While the dough chills, melt the chocolate bark in a double boiler over simmering water. Keep stirring and scraping the sides with a spatula to prevent burning. Once the chocolate is melted, use two forks to dip each chilled dough ball into the chocolate, making sure it’s fully coated. Set the dipped treats back on the waxed paper and refrigerate again until the chocolate hardens, which should take about an hour. Enjoy!

Serving Variations

Serve these treats chilled or at room temperature alongside a cold glass of milk or a cup of coffee. They also make a delightful addition to dessert platters at parties or casual gatherings.

Leftover Storage Guide

Store the treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze them in a sealed container for up to a month and thaw in the fridge before serving.

Definitely a hit with my kids. I’ll add a pinch more salt next time to balance the sweetness a bit more.
