Best Cooking Tips
- Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket; cook in batches if needed for even cooking.
- Shake the basket halfway through cooking to help the chips crisp evenly.
Step 1
Preheat your air fryer to 280°F. While it’s warming up, wash your kale and tear the leaves away from the tough stems. Make sure to dry the leaves really well, then tear them into bite-sized pieces and toss the stems aside.
Step 2
Put the kale in a big bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Use your hands to massage the oil into the leaves so they’re evenly coated. Sprinkle in some salt, pepper, and chile-lime seasoning, then toss everything together until the kale is nicely seasoned.
Step 3
Cook the kale in batches so the leaves don’t overlap in the air fryer basket. Air fry for about 5 minutes, then give the basket a good shake and cook for another 3 minutes. After that, sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the kale, shake to coat, and pop it back in for 2 more minutes until it’s crispy and golden. Keep an eye on the kale as you go, and repeat with the rest of your batches.
