Why This Recipe Is So Easy To Love

These brownies are a great way to enjoy a classic treat while adding a boost of protein. They satisfy sweet cravings without the usual guilt. Plus, they are perfect for fueling your body after a workout or as a nutritious snack.

Kitchen Tricks

- Use room temperature eggs for better mixing and texture.
- Avoid overbaking to keep the brownies moist and fudgy.
- Consider adding a handful of nuts or dark chocolate chips for extra flavor and crunch.

Directions

Warm your oven to 350°F (175°C) and greasing a 9-inch baking pan. Spread the mixed nuts out on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for about 10 to 12 minutes, until they’re golden and smell amazing. Once toasted, let them cool down a bit. In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, flaxseed oil, and butter until everything is smooth and creamy. Crack in the eggs one at a time, giving the mixture a good whisk after each addition, then stir in the vanilla. Fold in two-thirds of the toasted nuts along with the almond flour, cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, chopped dark chocolate, and baking powder until the batter is well combined. Pour the batter into your prepared pan, then sprinkle the remaining nuts on top. Bake for around 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the brownies cool before slicing and enjoying!

Serving Guide

Enjoy these brownies warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of nut butter. They also pair well with a cup of coffee or a glass of cold milk for a comforting treat.

Storage Tips

Store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days. For longer freshness, keep them in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze individually wrapped pieces for up to three months.
