Step 1

When the nuggets are done, move your oven rack to about 6 inches from the broiler and preheat the broiler. Arrange the crispy nuggets on an oven-safe platter, then spread the seasoned beef evenly over the top. Sprinkle on a mix of Mexican cheese and pepper jack cheese.

Pop the platter under the broiler just long enough for the cheese to melt and bubble—usually 1 to 3 minutes, so keep an eye on it! While that’s happening, whisk together the sour cream and lime juice in a small bowl.

Step 5

Once the cheese is perfectly melted, take the platter out and top everything with diced tomatoes, black olives, jalapeños, avocado, the sour cream mixture, sliced scallions, and a sprinkle of fresh cilantro. Serve right away and enjoy!
